Aguirre to De Lima: Why call Jaybee`s wife? Ibig sabihin very familiar sila sa isat-isa

During a press conference, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II refused to reveal the names of the upcoming witnesses who will testify against the involvement of Senator Leila de Lima in the illegal drug trade inside New Bilibid Prison (NBP).

Aguirre said that the lives of the witnesses will be in danger if he reveal their names.

"I can't reveal to you the names. Maraming ano si De Lima, maraming tumutulong sa kanya, even the wife of Jaybee Sebastian.

It can be recalled that De Lima released the alleged text messages of Jaybee's wife asking for help from the senator.

When De Lima released those alleged text messages, Aguirre said that De Lima seems to have a very close ties with the inmates.

"Why call her? Ibig sabihin very familiar sila sa isat-isa. Nagyayabang pa na marami tumatawag sa kanya. So marami ka contact sa inmates?

The next Senate hearing will be on October 5, 2016.
